Scalability

Enterprise versions of the Wanderware isapi authentication filter are architected to be highly scalable. These versions allow client requests to be spread amongst clusters or arrays of web servers independently.

Session independence is guaranteed at the level of the isapi authentication filter. It is not necessary to force returning user sessions back to a specific server or connection.

If a custom application also uses the user identification features of the isapi authentication filter, it can also be written to be completely server independent.
