Browser Update Isolation

Sites are insulated from the effects of browser upgrades and patches because the authentication and authorization are standards compliant and the results are not dependent on browser interaction. Unlike custom scripted methods, the server processes are not sensitive to changes in browser settings and defaults introduced by changes in the browser. This is of special importance to public sites which cannot control the deployment of a specific browser.
